The Tunnels to Towers 5k in New York City! In September, 2017, our own Linda Tomandl has had a dream to participate and this year she was able to do so with 30,000 other people! All to benefit wounded veterans. As they came out of the tunnel the road was lined with 2500 West point Cadets holding flags on the right and high fives by Fire Fighters from NY and NYPD holding banners with the names of coworkers who died on 9/11. Humbling and emotional as the "thank you's" to the walkers were greeted back with "thank you for your service!" Unforgettable experience and Thank you Carpet One for your support of this wonderful cause!
